Love after lunch breaks.

Nargis and Antony’s interfaith Muslim–Christian wedding in Chennai is a heartfelt story of love, resilience, and family support. Nargis, a graceful Muslim bride often compared to actress Mrunal Thakur, and Antony, a Christian groom, first met in school. Their relationship grew through years of long-distance during college, and even after Antony moved to the USA, their bond only became stronger.

With the unwavering confidence and support of their parents, who chose their children’s happiness over societal expectations the couple tied the knot in a court marriage at the Chennai Registrar Office. They later celebrated their union with a warm and joyful wedding reception at Illam Hospitality, OMR, Chennai, surrounded by close family and friends.

Antony comes from a creative background, his father is the writer of the iconic Kamal Haasan film Guna. The reception was attended by several well-known names from the Tamil film industry, including Gautham Menon and Santhana Bharathi, among others. Although he couldn’t attend in person, Kamal Haasan sent a handwritten note to bless the couple, making the occasion even more special.

This interfaith wedding in Chennai beautifully reflects how love, understanding, and supportive families can bring two traditions together in the most meaningful way.
